You know, I’ve been creating this musical practically all my life and I didn’t even know it. It seems like whenever something happened, whether it was a heartbreak, a loss, a new love, whatever, I put it in a song. And now this show is finally ready for the lights of Broadway.
Over the years, I’ve been involved with some real characters, and I guess it takes one to know one. But as you’ll see, I’ve also worked with some of the greatest in the industry, who all have created interesting and vicarious situations to say the least: some of it bizarre, some of it whacky, some of it dangerous - but more than anything – I’ve lived to see true passion and pain.
Even though all my music has been tied closely together, I recognized that it needed a format in which to deliver the story for everyone to hear. This self-written script is it! And it has allowed me to meld some of my existing music with brand new songs for the script and dialogue to create a complete art form, showcasing this catalog of creativity ---- This crazy story called life has finally found a home, and I’d like to invite the world to experience the drama, the tears, the love, the laughter …and most of all…the music!
